Annual meeting 2026 of the GDR 2D+
The annual meeting of the GDR 2D+ (successor to HOWDI) will take place from 28 September to 2 October at the domaine de Lyon Saint Joseph near Lyon (France). The French and international community working on van der Waals materials is invited to this important gathering. All topics related to these materials and their heterostructures will be covered: growth and synthesis, characterisation, electronic transport, optical properties, spin properties, moiré physics, correlated states… This year, a particular emphasis will be placed on topics related to boron nitride material. The colloquium will consist in a full week of presentation and exchange (from Monday afternoon to Friday lunch) in full pension with accommodation directly in the conference centre.
